Exceptional home and facilities

on this special island. Not one thing out of place with a wonderful and perfect host for our six weeks stay. We lacked for nothing.

Peace and relaxation were two of the many hallmarks of our stay as the island only has a handful of people. A small supermarket provides most of ones needs, however one can purchase more or less everything which can be flown in. Obviously, world class diving is one of the many pastimes. We would recommend booking your diving adventure through Southern Cross, but there are other dive companies to choose from. Fishing is fabulous. Snorkeling around the island is second to none and you can drop onto the reef straight from the house. Kayaks are also available for your use.

I spent a month at the sanctuary last winter. It was like stepping into a bubble in time and space.

By the third night I felt so completely safe in this environment, I turned off the air conditioning, and slept with the sliding glass door open to the beach.

The ocean became the best companion I could have. It’s rhythmic sound lulled me
to sleep, and greeted me every morning.

I savored tea and birdsong at the outdoor table, yoga on the deck, long walks along the road, and very occasional drives into town for lunch, groceries, contact, and people.

It was bliss. I worked everyday at a creative project on my computer, picking up where I left off the night before.

The uninterrupted concentration this location provided was incomparable. It was truly a rejuvenating and incredibly productive retreat; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I loved it.

“Took my breath away”

I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning rental property in Little Cayman, and it exceeded all my expectations. The first thing that took my breath away was the mesmerizing waterfront view. It's like waking up to a postcard-worthy scene every morning.

Privacy is a priority here. The property is secluded, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. I enjoyed having my own space without any disturbances.

Relaxation comes naturally in this tranquil environment. Whether it was lounging on the private beach, taking in the sunset from the deck, or simply unwinding in the well-appointed interior, I felt completely at ease throughout my stay.

The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to cook delicious meals, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured a good night's sleep. The property also had a pool, which was a great way to cool off after a day of exploring the island.

The location on Little Cayman is fantastic for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the island.

This house is absolutely stunning,

along with its impeccable design and indescribable view! It was super clean and every detail has been thought of for you down to every bathroom and kitchen item one might need... yoga mats, kayaks, bikes, interesting books to read, snorkeling gear... the coolest singing bowls for pure relaxation. During my weekend there, we enjoyed glorious sunsets right from the kitchen and dining areas... along with really, all day, breathtaking moments with every turn of the head. The couches and beds were also so comfy. I will definitely be back!!!

Attention to Detail…

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and it was an absolute dream. The home itself was a true oasis, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort and privacy.

The attention to detail in every aspect was impeccable. The interior design was tastefully done, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the home provided all the amenities one could ask for.

Little Cayman Island is a gem, with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The Sanctuary has its own beach, allowing for easy access to snorkeling, diving, and other water activities.

The host went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their knowledge of the island, recommendations for activities and availability of equipment (kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear) were invaluable.

I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone seeking a truly magical and rejuvenating getaway.

So good, it was hard to say goodbye!

A group of women (who kinda knew each other) had opportunity to occupy The Sanctuary for a long weekend. And oh, what a time we had! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, bond and have fun. The deep peace and quiet of our surroundings allowed everyone to recharge and reconnect.

The home was exquisitely furnished, fully outfitted with anything one could need— from the kitchen to the bathrooms, the beach closet to the bookshelf. Seriously, the bed might have been comfier than my own bed at home. The couch upstairs was definitely comfier than my couch at home (and maybe my bed too).

Whenever we had any questions about recreation on the island (snorkeling! scuba! sea kayaking! stand up paddle boarding!), our host was available to help guide us. Other highlights include, but are not limited to: sunrise yoga on the porch, a private beach, outdoor grill and lounge area, bedrooms on ground floor & kitchen/living/dining upstairs, meaning noise controlled zones.

Honestly, I could go on and on. We simply had just the loveliest experience, even on the day we got some major rain. I hope someday I get to return to this little slice of heaven.

The Sanctuary is a perfect retreat on Little Cayman, a perfect island.

I had the opportunity to spend four days there with friends and cannot overstate how restorative it was. The quiet privacy of our own beach nestled into the untouched beauty of the island made it so easy to melt into a state of total relaxation.

The house itself is comfortable and welcoming, and staying there feels more like house-sitting for your coolest friend than checking into a typical rental. The whole house opens toward the sea - double doors from each of the four bedrooms directly access onto a seaside deck, and the kitchen and living areas upstairs share an upper deck overlooking the beach. Indoor and outdoor lounge areas offer shade, sun, and beach options. Reefs just offshore are ideal for snorkeling and kayaking, and gear for both is included in the house. The host was gracious and incredibly helpful in figuring out travel, reservations, and activities once we arrived.

Highly recommend! I only regret that I can't leave a ten star review.

The Sanctuary is true to its name.

So peaceful, with thoughtful design and personal touches. I loved the spacious kitchen and common area upstairs with epic views of the ocean. The rooms are beautiful with the luxury of ocean front view and sliding doors that open up to the shoreline. Great spot for a retreat or a family/friends getaway.
